Welcome

Welcome. I’m Steve, and you’re here, no doubt, because you’re looking for a special ‘Funeral Celebrant’ serving the Staffordshire region.

I realise that the funeral of a loved one is one of the hardest things in life that many of us have to organise. It’s also the last thing we can do for them, so we want to get it right.

I create epic and authentic ceremonies that you will remember for all the right reasons.

“Excellence is never an accident. It is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, and intelligent execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.” ― Aristotle

“Steve is a breath of fresh air, engaging and compassionate; all things you need and more in a funeral celebrant. We have no hesitation in recommending him.”  Funeral Director Tim Parry.

You may be a family looking for a Funeral Celebrant in Staffordshire or a Funeral Director looking for someone to enhance your already excellent reputation; either way, a warm welcome awaits you.

Getting it right...

Celebrant Steve has dedicated much of his adult life to serving others, initially as a minister of religion, he found his true calling as a funeral celebrant in 2016. Recent years have seen Steve increasingly recognised for the work he does, the level of detail, precision and care for every family, every service and every individual that has died. As such he has been awarded numerous accolades, most recently being named Funeral Celebrant of the Year Staffordshire 2021/22 by the Prestige Awards.

What is a Funeral Celebrant you may ask? Well, a Celebrant is a popular alternative to using a vicar, a humanist, or a civil registrar; a person who is trained to host ceremonies marking some of life’s most significant milestones – such as weddings, vow renewals, baby naming, funerals, interments, and memorials. You can learn more about Steve’s unique Celebrancy here

Steve is especially noted for his quality and compassion. He’s highly experienced and articulate, with a deep sense of musicality and poetry. He also has a wealth of experience in supporting the bereaved, and so substantively offers a mixture of ritual, spoken and visual eulogy, art, symbolism and music.

‘The funeral of a loved one,” he says, “is one of the hardest things in life that many of us have to organise. It’s also the last thing we can do for them, and of course, we want to get it right.’

Take a look around and feel free to contact Steve at any stage without feeling under any obligation.
